How happy are you?really? If there’s room for improvement, try one of these suggestions.
Follow a Daily Routine
Always make a point to follow a regime. A routine provides a structured and organized way of living. When our daily routine is well structured, we can utilize our day in a better way. You will also realize that you are able to complete all your work on time and still can indulge in some entertainment activities, hobbies and sports. And you will automatically feel stress-free!
Wake up early ( As early as a sun)
Wake up early in the morning. As the saying goes, “early to bed and early to rise, makes a man, healthy wealthy and wise”. So, follow a daily routine and set a time to sleep at night and when to wake up. Waking up early is not just healthy for your body but is also beneficial in improving mental health.
Drink Water when you wake up
Killer morning habit: Drink 16oz of water, right after you wake up. Takeaway: One of the best things you can do after you wake up: drink at least 16oz (500mL) of water. Water fires up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps your body flush out toxins, gives your brain fuel, and may even make you eat less.
Start day with Yoga and Stretches
You can start your awakening process by clearing your mind through a short meditation. You’ll be ready to concentrate on a couple of simple one-leg balances (e.g. standing tall hugging one knee up to your chest, or a standard Tree pose), and you’ll be forced to keep your focus.
This will forcedly wake you up, and your brain will be more ready than ever to focus on your next tasks for the day.
With more oxygenated cells and a clearer focus on the day ahead, you will automatically feel more relaxed: you won’t be worried about that big meeting with the boss, and you’ll know exactly what you have to do to conclude another successful day. This is because your stress levels will be lower, and you’ll be able to face your day with a more positive approach.
Meditate at least 3 times a day
Meditation is an excellent method of cleansing your mind from all negative and stressing thoughts. Refresh and think positive. Whenever you feel heavy or burdened, or even when you feel tired of doing work, or feel irritated by something or someone, take a deep breath to relax. Focus on your breathing, while you exhale and inhale. Focus on how your body acts when you breathe. Visualize that your mind is going blank and focus on emptying your mind. A simple, 20-minute meditation will make you refreshed and relaxed. Besides this, it also helps to reduce your anxiety, tension and stress.
